Our team has more than 40 years combined experience in physical therapy. Rest assured there is no condition we haven't seen and treated successfully. Our staff prides itself on getting to the root of each problem where other health practitioners have failed. The body is integrated and no ache or pain is isolated. We look at the whole body to find and treat the source of pain or discomfort. Every member of our team shares this belief and you'll receive consistent, excellent treatment no matter which team member you work with.
Kelly Campbell, Owner, PT
Kelly Campbell is the owner and lead physical therapist for Lifestyles Physical Therapy. She grew up in Wichita, Kansas, and attended the University of Texas, majoring in zoology. Luckily for her patients, she switched her major to physical therapy and switched schools, graduating from the University of Oklahoma's School of Health Sciences in 1991.
Kelly honed her unique skills at a number of physical therapy clinics across the country. She fell in love with Portland during many trips to visit family and finally came to call it home in 1997.
Kelly enjoys spending time with her 6-year-old son, exercising, gardening, and, most of all, cooking. She has been swimming, running or cycling most of her life, eventually competing in triathlons. She has completed eight Ironman Triathlons, including three trips to the world championships in Kona, Hawaii. Her Ironman resume includes a blistering 10:30 finish in Ironman Canada.
Autumn Peterson, LMT, PTA
Originally from the Midwest, Autumn moved to Portland in 2004 to pursue massage therapy school and because she heard 'they rode bikes in Portland'. Following graduation she opened a private practice working primarily with the cycling community. As her practice matured she studied Thai massage, trigger point therapy, mysofascial work, injury rehabilitation and continued to seek out unique modalities. After three years in practice she began to travel abroad and domestically as a sogineur for professional bike racing teams. She also joined the Cycle Oregon massage team in 2010 where she travels all over the state with 19 other therapists providing support to 2000 riders cycling 70-100 miles a day for a week.
Wanting to delve into bodywork at a deeper level, she returned to school to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant license in 2016 which expanded her knowledge and increase her skillset. Autumn believes that education is a lifelong pursuit and is continually fascinated by the body. As an athlete of many disciplines, she understands how debilitating and frustrating injury and lack of mobility/flexibility can be. She loves to problem solve and create strategies to make lasting functional change!
Madissen Ostergaard, Front Desk
Madissen grew up in the small mountain town of Pioneer, California and went on to study at Highline Community College in Des Moines, WA for two years, after she was offered a spot to play on their women’s soccer team. After earning her Associates Degree she continued her education and collegiate soccer career at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, OR. She graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 2017 with a degree in Physical Activity and Health with a concentration in Exercise Science.
Madissen fell in love with Oregon after spending two years in eastern side of state and has now lived in Portland for almost two years. She moved to Portland to be closer to family and to gain more exposure to the physical activity and health fields. In her spare time she enjoys going to music venues in the Portland area, skiing, hiking, and hot springs hunting throughout the region. She continues to develop her soccer career through private coaching in the competitive Portland market. She is available to help your young athlete to gain more confidence and appreciation for their game.
Donn Campbell, Owner/Bookkeeper
Donn is a valuable asset to Lifestyles Physical Therapy, but we've found that he is best kept behind the scenes, performing his bookkeeping duties and supporting the staff in any way he can. He is a proud papa to a 3-year-old son and enjoys reading, carpentry, cat shows and spending time with his family.
Donn grew up in Bedford, Massachusetts, and is an avid Patriots fan. He earned a degree in business administration from Springfield College. He has traveled extensively since college and lived in Palm Springs; Silt, Colorado; Grand Isle, Vermont; and Boston before settling in Portland. Like many of us, Donn revels in his high school glory and still holds the high school record in the indoor 45-yard hurdles.
